Best of Hull and Humber to benefit from new business partnership
Hull and Humber businesses could soon be boosting their income through customers of World Trade Centre Hull and Humber.
Business service partners are being sought to supply the centre’s international and local visitors with a positive experience of the city that extends beyond the services it offers.
Businesses that believe they can offer relevant goods and services to a consistent high standard are being invited to apply, and if selected, sign a partnership agreement with World Trade Centre Hull and Humber that will guarantee recommendations from the centre’s staff.
It is expected that a range of businesses will benefit from the scheme including caterers, hoteliers, transport services (including taxis, chauffeurs and airport shuttles), health clubs and gyms and dry cleaners.
A newsagent is also being sought to supply the centre on an ongoing basis with a range of local, national and international news-stand publications.
Andy Mowbray, manager of World Trade Centre Hull and Humber, said: “In order to deliver the best standards possible we are looking to partner with local businesses that are committed to providing high quality products or services.
“The intention has always been that the centre will be an exemplary facility and a showcase for the Humber region. Therefore, we want to be confident when making a recommendation, that it will further enhance the customer’s experience.
“This is a really good opportunity for the best of local businesses to stand out from the crowd.”
Applicants are being asked to write to Leahann Mollon, operations manager at World Trade Centre Hull and Humber, detailing why they should be selected to become a business service partner along with any relevant marketing material. The closing date is Wednesday May 14.
