Doing business in Algeria

Event: Tuesday 8th June, 2010 - 12-2pm

Venue: World Trade Centre Hull & Humber

The UK is Algeria’s largest foreign investor, and well placed to export goods and services to Africa’s second largest country. Algeria offers many potential business openings as in 2010 it began a five-year £150bn infrastructure investment programme. Whilst France provides approximately 30 per cent of Algeria’s imports, UK goods exports to the country were £268 million in 2008, a rise of 59 per cent on 2007.

Delegates were able to discover the opportunities in Algeria and how to get started.

A presentation by the general manager and chief executive officer of WTC Algeria, Mr. Tibaoui followed by an opportunity for a one to one meeting with Mr. Tibaoui.
